(a)Establishment The Secretary, or the designee of the Secretary, shall establish a committee to be known as the Interdepartmental Serious Mental Illness Coordinating Committee (in this section referred to as the "Committee"). Except as provided in this section, the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.) 1 shall apply to the Committee.
(b)Meetings The Committee shall meet not fewer than 2 times each year.
(c)Responsibilities Not later than each of 1 year and 5 years after December 29, 2022, the Committee shall submit to Congress and any other relevant Federal department or agency a report including—
(1)a summary of advances in serious mental illness and serious emotional disturbance research related to the prevention of, diagnosis of, intervention in, and trea
